The NRW Regional Chapter of the BDÜ Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators sponsored 20 starting places for the virtual Laufcampus Runningdays Winter 21 Challenge, and I was one of the lucky few to take part! Between December 20 and December 26, 2021, I once again laced-up, headed out and made the kilometres count. Because I decided to donate 1 euro for every kilometre I covered to a charitable cause. At the end of the week, I not only mastered my personal challenge (10 km walking), but also covered a total of 71.55 kilometers. Rounded up, that's 75 EUR I'm now donating to the organisation ALS - Alle lieben Schmidt e.V., to help fight Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
