This September, we had the pleasure of interpreting at an international youth conference on Climate Justice organised by Kindernothilfe in Duisburg, Germany. Together with my booth mate Andrea Wilming,we helped the participants aged 13-17 communicate with young adults from from Pakistan, South Africa, Kenya, Italy and Germany during the workshop sessions and panel discussions. Working together in a hybrid workshop format, both in person and remotely, participants planned and designed this transnational collaborative video artwork using performance, installation, drawing, photography, graffiti, street art, and calligraphy.
We’re proud to have been part of this great conference and even more proud to share the result of the participants’ hard and dedicated work.
