KNH Youth Conference

Another year, another KNH youth conference!

Since 2018, we‘ve been supporting the German children’s relief organisation Kindernothilfe with simultaneous translation during their annual youth conferences in Duisburg.

Last weekend, young people from Germany, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Moldova met to discuss and converse about this year’s topic “Democracy and the Climate Crisis – How can young people get actively involved in climate protection?”. The participants could choose from various workshops and projects to take action for climate empowerment while making new friends and connecting with peers from various backgrounds. One of the main workshops focused on drawing up a petition with their demands to be presented to the UN Climate Change Conference COP30 in Brazil.
